I received numerous requests to release a sample of Request Letter or Letter of Intent I used to apply for Threat Assessment as part of the requirements when you are applying for a Permit To Carry Outside of Residence (PTCFOR) as discussed in Getting a Threat Assessment and Applying for PTCFOR for a civilian non-Metro Manila person article.
I mentioned in my other article, Getting a Threat Assessment and Applying for PTCFOR for a civilian non-Metro Manila person, that there is a way for PTCFOR applicant especially those that are from outside Metro Manila, can save another trip to Camp Crame just to pay and retrieved his PTCFOR card (assuming his application has been approved) by preparing a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) to authorize a friend, relative or someone who offers this as a personal service, to do this for him.

I was recently PM’d by a fellow Facebook group page member Im actively a participating to, asking how I acquired my Threat Assessment. I tried to be as detailed as possible with my answer to him.
However continually still see the same question being asked by other people. So for my first contribution to the “beng beng” community I will share my personal account, step by step and as detailed as I can, on how to process it yourself for everybody’s consumption who has the same questions I had.
